Remember those old horror films which use to have a comical track featuring comedians like Mehmood, Jugdeep, Johnny Lever, Rajendernath, Satish Shah and many more. These tracks use to act as a relief in the horror films. Many horror films are still remembered for their comical tracks including films like Gumnaam, Purana Mandir and few more. Similarly in Hollywood they too had introduced some comical tracks in their Vampire films or Zombie films. For beginners the term 'Zombie' has various meaning. It's commonly known as soulless corpse or undead people interested in one thing; eating the flesh of others. There were many dark horror films made under this genre, but people also started to enjoy the humor angle indulged in some of these films. This enjoyment inspired film makers to add more comical parts in such film leading to proper Zombie film in comical style. Such movies were called Zom-Com (Zombie-Comedy) or Zomedy films. Sadly our film makers here were not keen to experiment with this genre, though there were few spoofy scenes like Jagdeep's imitation of Michael Jackson's 'Thriller' in the film 'Kabrastan'. Finally this year we witnessed a proper Zombie film in form of 'Rise Of The Zombie' and now 'Go Goa Gone' which claims to be India's first out and out Zom-Com film. So let's find out whether this India's first Zom-Com film will manage to entertain its audience or might be hard for them to even find a decent audience to watch the film due to its alien theme.

The zombie comedy Go Goa Gone too is a unique concept which has been presented on celluloid and hopefully it will be liked and applauded by the moviegoers. Romantic, comedies, action and musical movies are what are called the time and tested formulas in Bollywood film industry. The producers felt safe on spending money on these kinds of subjects. But they felt reluctant on investing money on the subjects of other natures. But when few showed courage and their films turned out to be hit, the big wheels and all then followed.

In Hollywood, we often see and have been watching zombie comedies. The movies on zombie and zom-com are churned out in plenty over there. And the same would hopefully start happening in Bollywood industry soon.

The story of Go Goa Gone revolves around the two dope heads Hardik (Kunal Khemu) and Luv (Vir Das), who are off for a business trip at Goa. This is when Luv comes across a free-spirited girl, Luna (Puja Gupta) who casually invites them to an exclusive underground rave party on a remote island. The party's host, a Russian Don-Saif Ali Khan(Boris), is a self-proclaimed zombie-hunter. And there begins the adventure, after the party goes horribly wrong... All of a sudden, they are accosted by zombies!

Go Gone Gone has it's share of violence and gore, and mildly scary. But, the best part of the movies is that the filmmakers enthuses for its audiences oodles of laughter which keeps you rolling till the end. There are times you find yourself laughing aloud with the three boys and their wisecracks

One of them, Bunny, is hard-working (Anand Tiwari, outstanding). Of the other two, the cool cat is called Hardik (Kunal Khemu), which for a name is the worst crime any Hindu parent can commit on their unsuspecting infants. Luv (Vir Das) is supposed to be loveless. But basically both are junkies. They drag the good boy in their group to a rave in an isolated island in Goa. Everybody at the party pops some expensive pills. These guys can't afford it. By morning Goa is pretty much gone. Everyone in the secluded island, except for these buddies and a hot girl, has turned into a hungry zombie.

This is the subthread for discussion of the third episode of season eight of Game of Thrones. Since most readers will have moved on to 126.5 by then, you may write freely without worrying about spoilers.

And yes the model IS wrong. The model here is that prices should be set based on politics and the strength of various interest groups, instead of through the free market of producers and consumers each making bilateral agreements for every purchase made. 95% of the time people making their own choices will result in the best results for each consumer and producer. Not to speak of the added freedom that results from people making their own decisions instead of letting the government decide their choices.

Unless you have a plan to get prison guards to work for free, prisons are going to be run for profit, the only question is whose profit. All institutions are run for the benefit of their members, broadly defined to include the owners, leaders, and workers. The interests of those groups never align directly with those of the general population, but capitalism provides strong incentives for them to care about what their customers want. Government has much weaker incentives, and in the long run government agencies tend to be run substantially for the benefit of the people who work for them, particularly when those agencies have complex goals with lots of tradeoffs. Public prison guard unions are at least as rapacious capitalist prison owners, and tend to have more power.

The long and the short of it is that you can make media look awful by selecting a subset and holding it up as representative, ie Michael Bay movies, but consuming those movies says more about you than it says about broad media.

At least part of the answer is that survivable doomsday scenarios offer the survivors freedom from usual social and legal constraints, probably including the ability to gun down hordes of worthless scum without guilt or repercussion, and in some cases proof of their intellectual or moral superiority in having survived in the first place.

The closest there is to a reason seems to be in Isaiah 8:19 (should not a people consult their God? Should they consult the dead on behalf of the living?), I John 4:1 (test the spirits to see whether they are from God, because many false prophets have gone out into the world).
