EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The Constitution which is the supreme law of the Republic of South Africa and which is renowned as the best in the world enshrines in Chapter two (2) section seven (7) the rights of all people in our country irrespective of gender, age, religious inclination, political affiliation, race and/or tribe. Section twenty two (22) of the same chapter further enshrines the right to freedom of trade, occupation and profession to all people. The same chapter in section twenty seven (27) enshrines the right to social security and in section twenty nine (29) the right to quality education.  The fulfilment of the above constitutional rights requires collaborative effort from all sectors of society, Government at all the three spheres, private companies, NGOs, CBOs.

Dr. Indira Naidoo Institute (Pty) Ltd envisages to be a SETA accredited Training Provider which shall be conferred on it by ETDPSETA and will extend its scope to Construction Education and Training Authority (CETA), Quality Council for Trades and Occupations and many other SETAS established in terms of the Skills Development Act of 1998 in conjunction with the Skills Development Levy Act 2000.

The accreditation status that will be awarded to Dr. Indira Naidoo’s Institute of Education, Training and Engineering(Pty) Ltd will be  a culmination of our professional demonstration and compliance to prescribed minimum criteria and guidelines for accreditation and learning programme approval under the auspices of the South African Quality Authority (SAQA). Quality service will be the pillar of our strength
